100 female writers share their personal stories of achievement
6th February 2018 marks the centenary of the Representation of the People Act which allowed the first women the right to the vote in the UK. We've come along way in a hundred years, but we could go further.
100 voices for 100 years throws the spotlight on narratives created and told by women.
The project brings together a diverse community of female identifying writers and storytellers from around the country. Each has volunteered to share a 3-5 minute story from their lives. We publish them here, one a day over 100 days.
The stories are as varied as the women involved in the project; funny, profound, everyday, life changing.
All of them inspiring.
